Coordinate Custom Welded Products projects at ZOOK using engineering planning, technical coordination, and cross-functional execution skills. This salaried role is based in the Metal Business Unit. The CWP Technical Project Manager supports the Welded Products Manager across project planning, technical deliverables, validation, and closeout. You will coordinate engineering, production, quality, purchasing, suppliers, and customers while tracking milestones, decisions, risks, and approvals. The work spans custom welded assemblies, burst plugs, and related pressure relief products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, priorities, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs
- Lead projects from concept review through production readiness
- Maintain schedules, action trackers, risk analyses, and decision logs
- Coordinate drawings, testing, supplier information, customer feedback, and approvals
- Release APQP, validation, manufacturing, and customer documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related discipline
- Three to five years’ technical project experience preferred
- Experience managing scope, schedules, risks, communication, and closeout
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, inspection records, and test results
- Microsoft 365 proficiency required; project tools experience is an asset
- Bring technical project management, documentation control, and cross-functional coordination to ZOOK’s Custom Welded Products engineering work.
