Welcome to Yoush Consulting. We are looking for a Lead QA professional with experience testing Dynamics Finance & Operations solutions. This is an exciting project in a collaborative team that offers you the opportunity to expand your experience. As a lead, you have been working as a Quality Assurance for at least 5 years with broad experience with the Microsoft Cloud platform.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a QA strategy for the client’s new and existing applications, platforms, and services. The QA Lead will collaborate with IT leadership, develop and lead the QA practice, and guide the team to higher quality production releases by leveraging best practices from the industry.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of all QA activities and deliverables
- Provide guidance to the team in terms of policy and procedure
- Report issues and propose resolutions to IT operations, application support, and development teams
- Assist Program/Project Managers with detailed project planning and work-effort estimates for QA phases
- Manage and coordinate the testing efforts with other internal groups, including business, BAs, Development, Configuration, Production Application Support, and external clients
- Provide inputs in the analysis of business requirements, user interface design, test requirements, and risk analysis
- Define, review and update project-based test strategies
- Develop, review and maintain test plans
- Define and maintain quality standards, policies, and procedures
- Provide status updates and report issues to project management and IT leadership
- Ensure the project milestones for the testing phases are met
- Set realistic and achievable expectations for deliverables
- Execute tasks by doing hands-on work as an individual contributor when needed
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in IT or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Experience with the D365 F&O or AX solution (customer engagement, marketing, project operations)
- Good knowledge of hardware, systems software and utilities, network communications, databases, computer operations
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies (for functional/non-functional, integration, system, acceptance, performance, security, usability etc.)
- Good technical writing skills and experience creating test documentation
- Experience with automated testing (for APIs, services, SaaS platforms, UI testing, desktop applications) or frameworks (Selenium, Ignite, etc.)
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps platform (Test Plans, Pipelines, Boards, Repos)
