Manage invoices, payments, and reconciliations as an Accounts Payable Associate with YORK1, supporting environmental and industrial services across Ontario.
This Accounts Payable Associate manages daily accounts payable functions accurately and efficiently. You will work with vendors and internal stakeholders on invoice processing, payment administration, and reconciliations. The position supports timely payments, vendor relationships, financial records, audits, and month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and payment terms
- Collect approvals and process accounts payable transactions
- Issue payments and respond to vendor inquiries
- Resolve discrepancies and reconcile vendor accounts
- Support audits, financial reviews, and month-end close
Requirements:
- Post-secondary Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years of Accounts Payable experience
- High-volume invoice processing environment experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel
- ERP experience; Jonas software is an asset
