Manage building operations for York Regional Police at Headquarters, using HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation expertise. This is permanent, full-time employment. As a Property Maintenance Operator, you will maintain YRP buildings and related systems within Capital Projects & Facilities. The work includes repairs, contractor coordination, maintenance scheduling, regulatory compliance, emergency response, and facility support. You will also monitor equipment, supplies, utilities, and site conditions. Key Responsibilities:
Perform general repairs to buildings and equipment Coordinate contractors and minimize disruption to staff and visitors Monitor buildings and identify required repairs or upkeep Complete maintenance schedules and generator checks Access BAS to control temperatures and obtain information Requirements:
Two-year college diploma in Building Maintenance or related field Two years’ facility management, operations, or related experience Knowledge of HVAC, WHMIS, and building automation systems Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills Understanding of Ontario Building Code requirements Apply building systems knowledge, repair skills, and contractor coordination expertise maintaining York Regional Police facilities at Headquarters.
