This General Manager of People and Culture reports to the Chief Operating Officer and supports employees, managers, volunteers, and leaders. Core work includes investigations, conflict resolution, progressive coaching, terminations, and performance management. The position also builds leadership capacity, supports engagement initiatives, and provides HR operations coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary resource for employee relations matters
- Provide recommendations on conduct, attendance, performance, and workplace concerns
- Develop and facilitate leadership training and management development
- Analyze WorkWell survey results and prepare leadership reports
- Assist with policy development, implementation, and communication
Requirements:
- Strong employee relations, investigations, mediation, and conflict resolution knowledge
- Experience coaching managers through employee performance and workplace issues
- Understanding of engagement principles and organizational culture development
