Support event sales at the Central YMCA Health & Fitness Centre through client communication, booking administration, and organized room scheduling onsite.
This part-time, 12-month contract role coordinates room rentals and events for internal and external clients.
You will serve as a first contact, explain costs and resources, and collaborate with colleagues on sales targets.
Administrative duties include payments, deposits, client data, and contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first contact for event space inquiries
- Share detailed cost and resource information with clients
- Process payments, track deposits, and enter client data
- Prepare sales contracts and maintain accounts receivable processes
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet sales targets
Requirements
- Two to three years' customer service, sales, or event experience
- Previous outstanding payment collection experience is an asset
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- ACTIVENET booking system knowledge preferred
