The YMCA is expanding its team of Specialty Program Instructors to cater to the growing demand for six-week specialty programs. This role targets individuals seeking focused instruction while promoting wellness and community ties. You will report to either the Adult Recreation Coordinator or the Child & Youth Program Coordinator, ensuring the highest standards of member engagement and program delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Propose engaging six-week specialty programs with clear goals
- Deliver planned programs for targeted participant groups
- Supervise participants, offering support and feedback
- Promote YMCA services to enhance participant experiences
- Maintain organized and safe program spaces
Requirements:
- Current CPR Level C and First Aid certification
- Passion for teaching and health promotion
- Strong organization, customer service, and communication skills
- One to two years of experience as an instructor preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours for program availability
