Shape Health & Fitness communications through compelling copy, content strategy, and digital publishing for the YMCA of Greater Toronto. This full-time position works 37.5 hours weekly.
The Marketing and Communications Content Specialist develops content for digital and print channels across Health & Fitness programs and Centres. You will create campaigns, stories, and communications while coordinating internal teams, external partners, and visual assets. The work supports consistent brand delivery and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create copy for emails, websites, social media, newsletters, and advertisements
- Develop Health & Fitness content strategy across programs and Centres
- Execute content and use performance results to inform improvements
- Lead photography and video shoots, including creative direction
- Monitor social conversations and guide appropriate responses
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Two or more years developing marketing and communications content
- Experience with photography, video production, and visual assets
- Experience using email platforms and content management systems
- Excellent writing, detail, analytics, and project management skills
