The City of Yellowknife is seeking a qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair the city’s heavy truck and equipment fleet.
Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor, you will perform preventive maintenance and diagnose faults to keep assets in optimal condition.
Candidates must hold a Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician Certificate with at least five years of experience, a valid NWT Class 5 license, and welding skills (oxy-acetylene, arc, MIG).
On-call duties apply.
