Gestionnaire Qualité / Quality Manager in Longueuil

As part of this expansion, we are seeking a highly experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and quality control initiatives at our Saint-Hubert, QC manufacturing site. Reporting to the Director, PMO, QHSE, & Service, the Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement. This strategic role involves developing and implementing quality management systems, driving adherence to industry regulations, and fostering a strong culture of quality across all teams.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, production, supply chain, and customer service teams to enhance product reliability, address customer feedback, and ensure seamless quality performance throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.

An overview of your responsibilities:

• Quality Strategy & Leadership
  • Implement and improve the site quality management strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance and drive improvements.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001 and applicable HVAC standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and inspections to assess compliance and address non-conformance issues.
  • Develop and maintain inspection and testing protocols for incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Oversee quality processes and procedures to ensure conformance of the Mesa manufacturing site.
• Continuous Improvement & Problem Resolution
  • Recommend and implement improvements in products, processes, services, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Analyze quality data and feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and manufacturing to review and resolve quality-related issues, including equipment or design concerns.
• Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to maintain effective quality control processes.
  • Work closely with customer service and sales teams to address complaints and feedback related to product quality.
  • Develop customer satisfaction metrics and strategies to enhance trust in our products.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and supply chain to improve product quality and reliability.
• Reporting & Documentation
  • Ensure accurate documentation of quality processes, procedures, and results.
  • Prepare and present quality reports, audits, and findings to senior management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector, preferably in HVAC.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience leading quality teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build alignment across teams.
• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to balance quality needs with operational requirements.
