Build secure, scalable payment systems as a Senior Engineer at Xero’s Vancouver office, using distributed services and modern backend technologies. You will own significant payments initiatives from technical design through production validation. The work spans orchestration, provider integrations, onboarding, risk, reconciliation, and bill payments. You will balance customer simplicity, financial control, reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability while collaborating with product and engineering partners. The Vancouver team works hybrid, with home flexibility and office boost days one or two days weekly.
