This Generation Development Project Estimator supports renewable, thermal, and emerging energy technology projects. You will create whole-project estimates, maintain estimating tools and cost databases, and support competitive bids for billion-dollar-class power plants. The work involves project managers, schedulers, supply chain, vendors, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create total project estimates and integrated cash flow schedules
- Estimate equipment, EPC, interconnection, permitting, and indirect costs
- Develop quantitative risk registers and risk-weighted contingencies
- Maintain estimating tools, databases, and project management applications
- Support accurate competitive bids for new generation projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent relevant experience
- Knowledge of project management, scheduling, and cost controls
- Experience with complex spreadsheets or commercial project platforms
- Ability to collaborate with project, supply chain, and vendor teams
- Understanding of project estimates, schedules, and cost information
