Your role and responsibilities: Xanadu is looking for a Visual Designer to shape the visual identity of the quantum computing revolution. In this role, you’ll define and elevate how our breakthrough hardware and software are experienced globally, bringing the Xanadu brand to life across digital platforms, developer ecosystems like PennyLane, and immersive physical events. Working at the intersection of brand systems, web design, and campaign launches, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn cutting-edge quantum innovation into intuitive, visually stunning experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Corporate Brand Identity & System Evolution: Own and evolve visual design systems, brand guidelines, and asset libraries across digital and physical touchpoints to elevate the company's overall visual presence. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure visual consistency, craft precision, and cohesive brand storytelling across every touchpoint, ensuring cross-platform consistency across physical banners, social media posts, and digital UI application navigation menus.
• Digital Campaigns: Design end-to-end multi-channel assets for product launches, major announcements, events, and always-on digital marketing campaigns. Build responsive visual assets across web properties, email lifecycle channels, and paid/organic social platforms. Adapt master creative into platform-native formats while maintaining brand integrity, load speeds, and engagement performance.
• Software and Hardware Product Campaigns: Devise unique ways to showcase abstract quantum computing concepts into visually striking graphics, diagrams, and motion assets for hardware and software releases. Collaborate across marketing to design community event branding, open-source campaign toolkits, and educational touchpoints.
• AI-Powered Workflow & Execution: Leverage generative AI tools within your workflow to accelerate ideation, iterate on variations, and streamline production pipelines. Maintain structured asset libraries, reusable templates, and handoff-ready source files in a fast-paced environment.

Basic qualifications and experience:

• 5+ years of visual design experience in technology companies, creative agencies, or enterprise industry environments.
• A portfolio showcasing work across digital marketing campaigns, brand systems, web, social, and email formats.
• Solid graphic foundations, including deep expertise in color theory, typography, visual composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Advanced proficiency across software tools including Adobe Creative Suite, motion design software such as Adobe After Effects, and 3D modeling software like Blender.
• A proven track record of maintaining cross-platform visual consistency and cohesive brand storytelling across physical assets, social media, and digital UI application navigation menus.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Proven ability to juggle competing priorities, execute quickly against briefs, and thrive in an agile environment.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate generative AI tools into creative pipelines, including concrete examples of workflow integration to speed up production while holding a high bar for design craft.
• Advanced visual storytelling skills with an interest in translating complex technical concepts into clean, accessible visuals.
• Demonstrated ability to manage or provide design oversight for UX/UI projects, guiding user experience strategy and digital consistency.

This is for a new position. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and internal benchmarks. The base salary range is 120,000 - 170,000 CAD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
