- Mentor inspectors and project teams while promoting a strong culture of quality, technical rigour, and nuclear safety.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Welding, Quality, or a related engineering discipline; a Professional Engineering licence is an asset.
- 12 to 20 years of progressive, hands‑on experience in quality assurance, quality control, inspection, or manufacturing oversight within nuclear, power generation, pressure vessel, heavy industrial manufacturing, aerospace, or oil and gas environments.
- Demonstrated oversight of welding, fabrication, inspection, and testing for complex engineered components, including WPS, PQR/WPQR, welder performance qualifications, and welding inspection requirements.
- Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as ASME Section III, ASME Section IX, CSA N285, CSA N299, CSA W47.1, CSA W59, or equivalent nuclear and pressure-boundary fabrication standards.
- Practical familiarity with VT, PT, MT, UT, and RT nondestructive examination methods, together with ITPs, hold points, witness points, quality documentation packages, and manufacturing records.
- Proven experience leading supplier audits, surveillance programs, quality assessments, root cause analysis, CAPA management, and corrective action initiatives.
- Experience leading and developing technical teams, quality inspectors, or welding inspection personnel; CWB Level 2 or 3, AWS CWI, CGSB NDE, CQE, or equivalent certifications are strong assets.
