This Designer, Linear Infrastructure Design role supports WSP's high-performing Rail & Transit team.
You will create professional engineering drawings, 2D and 3D models, and coordinated technical packages.
The work connects railway communications technologies, cable containment, and infrastructure interfaces with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate 2D and 3D infrastructure drawings
- Model CCTV, SCADA, signals, lighting, and rail assets
- Support multidisciplinary teams through project phases
- Present design concepts and technical updates
- Contribute to design optimization and value engineering
Requirements
- Four years of relevant infrastructure design experience
- Postsecondary engineering technology diploma or degree
- Experience supporting rail, transit, or underground utility projects
- Strong Auto CAD Civil 3D, Micro Station, or Revit proficiency
- Ability to manage drawing versions and technical documents
