This Senior Geotechnical Engineer supports WSP’s Ground Engineering West team in London, Ontario. The position combines technical expertise with business development, serving as a local business lead and senior technical resource. Responsibilities span problem definition, solution development, testing, engineering, commissioning, and operations support. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as local geotechnical business lead and technical resource Support proposals, project management, client relations, and team training Collaborate with WSP staff across offices and disciplines Develop client understanding and deliver high-quality service Minimize project exposure and risk Requirements:
Geotechnical civil or geological engineering degree 10+ years of relevant post-graduation experience Professional Engineer license in Ontario or Canada Strong leadership and team-working abilities Commitment to safety and WSP’s Core Values Use ground engineering leadership, technical judgment, and business development expertise to help expand WSP’s regional practice.
