WSP invites an Intermediate Mine Waste Engineer to enhance its Mine Waste team in Western Canada. This role requires a proactive approach to tailings management, field investigations, and collaboration with engineering specialists. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct dam safety inspections and field investigations
- Produce geotechnical analysis for project safety and integrity
- Develop waste management plans and regulatory compliance
- Monitor and enhance mine waste system performance
- Create clear reports and assist in project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering
- 5-7 years of mine waste management experience
- P.Eng. designation in Alberta or British Columbia
- Applied knowledge of tailings and waste rock management
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
