Lead Ground Engineering & Materials strategy across British Columbia and Yukon, applying geotechnical expertise and commercial leadership. WSP seeks a people-focused executive. As Vice President, you will guide a regional business spanning geotechnical engineering, materials engineering, laboratory services, field services, and construction materials. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Earth & Environment, you will shape growth, performance, technical excellence, and long-term business health. The mandate includes strengthening operations, diversifying markets, and building stronger WSP connections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set regional vision and translate priorities into focused strategy
- Lead budgets, forecasts, profitability, utilization, and workforce planning
- Identify emerging trends, client needs, and market opportunities
- Ensure safe, efficient, compliant project delivery
- Develop leaders and strengthen accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geoscience, or related discipline
- Professional Engineer designation or equivalent registration
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience
- Financial acumen managing budgets and operational performance
- Established BC and Yukon engineering or consulting reputation
- Bring strategic growth, operational performance, and people leadership to WSP’s Ground Engineering & Materials business across BC and Yukon.
