Lead WSP’s Ground Engineering team from Vancouver, combining people leadership with senior geotechnical expertise across British Columbia and Yukon. As Group Manager, you will guide operational performance, growth, and delivery excellence across infrastructure and development projects. You will support technical professionals, project teams, and business operations while strengthening client relationships and regional performance. The role reports to the Director of Ground Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Ground Engineering operations, growth, and delivery excellence
- Manage professionals, project teams, and business operations
- Mentor team members through technical guidance and coaching
- Support proposals, client engagement, and project positioning
- Provide senior geotechnical review and quality oversight
Requirements:
- Degree in civil engineering, geological engineering, geoscience, or related discipline
- 10 to 15 years of geotechnical consulting experience
- Registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia
- Experience leading teams through coaching and development
- Experience with strategic planning, growth, forecasting, and budgeting
- Bring geotechnical expertise, team leadership, and business growth experience to WSP’s Ground Engineering practice in Western Canada.
