Lead secure defence infrastructure delivery for WSP across Canada, directing complex projects, multidisciplinary teams, and federal client relationships. As Senior Project Director, you will guide national Defence and Federal Buildings projects across military bases, shipyards, hangars, and related facilities. You will oversee planning, procurement, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout while supporting WSP’s defence practice growth. The work spans land, air, and naval environments. Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of defence and federal infrastructure projects Establish schedules, budgets, governance, quality controls, and risk strategies Direct multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, security, and controls teams Serve as primary client interface and delivery accountability point Coordinate Defence Construction Canada, contractors, authorities, and stakeholders Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline Minimum 12 years progressive project delivery experience At least five years delivering defence or federal infrastructure Experience managing capital projects valued at $25 million or greater Ability to obtain and maintain required federal security clearance Bring strategic leadership, federal infrastructure expertise, and multidisciplinary delivery experience to WSP’s national Defence practice.
