WSP seeks a Senior Civil CAD Technologist with 8+ years of CAD drafting and design experience. You will support subdivision, development site servicing, and transportation design packages across urban and regional projects. The work involves engineers, designers, project managers, and technical specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed Civil 3D drawings for municipal and land development projects
- Prepare surface grading, utilities, pond, and stormwater design plans
- Interpret engineering markups, criteria, standards, and field data
- Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs into constructible design packages
- Complete drawing checks, revisions, and design updates
Requirements:
- 8+ years of CAD drafting and design experience
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Knowledge of City of Calgary design standards
- Understanding of Alberta transportation practices, MMCD, and TAC guidelines
- Ability to lead technicians on larger infrastructure projects
