Lead secure defence infrastructure delivery at WSP, directing complex capital projects and multidisciplinary teams across Canada’s land, air, and naval environments. As Senior Project Director, Defence Infrastructure, you will lead national portfolio delivery for military bases, shipyards, aircraft hangars, and federal facilities. The work combines strategic leadership, client accountability, governance, and project delivery expertise. You will help grow WSP’s Defence and Federal Buildings practice while delivering public-sector projects. Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects from planning and procurement through construction, commissioning, and closeout Establish schedules, budgets, resource plans, quality controls, and risk strategies Direct multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, security, and project controls teams Serve as primary client interface for delivery outcomes Coordinate Defence Construction Canada, contractors, regulators, and stakeholders Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline Minimum 12 years’ progressive project delivery experience At least five years delivering defence or federal infrastructure projects Experience managing capital projects valued at $25 million or greater Ability to obtain and maintain required federal security clearance Bring senior project leadership, federal infrastructure expertise, and multidisciplinary delivery experience to WSP’s Canadian defence practice.
