Use Civil 3D and AutoCAD to develop municipal infrastructure drawings in WSP’s Calgary office, supporting complex Alberta projects. As a Senior CADD Technician, you will prepare technical drawings for civil engineering, municipal, and land development projects. The work involves City of Calgary standards, Alberta Transportation requirements, MMCD, and TAC guidelines. You will coordinate with engineers, designers, project managers, and technical specialists across multidisciplinary design packages. Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed Civil 3D drawings for infrastructure projects Prepare grading, utilities, pond, stormwater, and block profile plans Interpret engineering markups, criteria, standards, and field data Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs into clear design packages Complete drawing checks, revisions, and design updates Requirements:
Eight or more years of CAD drafting and design experience Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Knowledge of City of Calgary design standards Experience with municipal or related infrastructure environments Ability to lead technicians on larger projects Bring advanced Civil 3D drafting, municipal standards, and infrastructure coordination expertise to WSP projects throughout Calgary and Alberta.
