Work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications while assembling structural forms, pipe, tanks, pressure vessels, and other equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, modify, and repair pipe, boilers, towers, and exchangers
- Repair furnaces, drums, and related industrial equipment
- Set up welding equipment for pipe, plate, or structural steel
- Weld using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas equipment
- Assist other mechanics with assigned work
Requirements:
- Minimum four years industrial construction or maintenance experience
- Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and specifications
- Experience laying out and aligning welded components
