This full-time, in-person position follows a 5-on, 2-off schedule. Worley Canada Construction seeks an experienced Mechanical Quality Control Inspector for industrial construction. The work covers pressure equipment, rotating machinery, packaged equipment, approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and manufacturer requirements. The position supports early issue identification, reduced rework, and mechanical readiness for pre-commissioning and commissioning. Key Responsibilities:
Inspect pressure vessels, boilers, pumps, motors, and packaged equipment Verify equipment setting, leveling, alignment, tolerances, and preservation Review ITPs, drawings, certificates, vendor documents, and checklists Manage deficiencies, punch-list items, inspection reports, and NCRs Support mechanical completion walkdowns and turnover documentation Requirements:
Valid CSA W178.2 Level 2 Quality Control Inspector certification Minimum five years mechanical QC inspection experience on industrial projects Mechanical journeyperson certification or equivalent technical background Experience with vendor surveillance and packaged equipment inspections Ability to interpret IFC drawings, P&IDs, manuals, ITPs, and specifications Bring mechanical inspection expertise, equipment alignment knowledge, and quality documentation skills to Worley’s Edmonton construction team.
