WiseMatic builds games, gamified apps and real‑time 3D experiences for clients in entertainment, education and enterprise training. We are looking for a Game Developer who loves gameplay programming and can take features from prototype to polished release on mobile, PC and XR platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement gameplay systems, UI and tools in Unity (C#) or Unreal Engine (C++/Blueprints)
- Prototype quickly to test game mechanics and gamification ideas with clients
- Optimise performance for mobile, PC and VR headsets
- Integrate analytics, backend services, in‑app purchases and multiplayer where needed
- Collaborate with artists and designers, and contribute to code reviews and technical decisions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional game development experience
- At least one shipped title or substantial portfolio project
- Strong C# (Unity) or C++ (Unreal) skills and solid software engineering practices
- Understanding of game loops, physics, animation systems and performance profiling
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Preferred skills
- VR/AR development (Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, ARKit/ARCore)
- Multiplayer networking experience
- Shader and graphics programming
- Experience building serious games or training simulations
