This Nurse 2 position serves WRHA Community Health Services within Interprofessional FFS. The work emphasizes primary care and community health, including prevention, intervention, maintenance, support, and palliation. Clinical practice includes varied community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care nursing in varied clinic settings
- Perform physical examinations and nursing interventions
- Assist clients with physical and mental challenges
- Interpret test results and intervention implications
- Teach groups and arrange meeting rooms
Requirements:
- Two years' directly related primary care experience
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
- Maintain registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license
- Current required criminal and abuse registry checks
