Apply clinical expertise in anesthesia nursing and intensive care at Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg, working days in person. This full-time position supports Surgery within the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
The Clinical Resource Nurse provides specialized clinical support in the Anesthesia/OR setting. The position requires recent anesthesia or ICU nursing experience, with surgery experience preferred. You will apply IV establishment, invasive monitoring, patient teaching, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish IVs for patients receiving clinical care
- Set up and interpret invasive monitoring
- Provide patient and family teaching
- Work collaboratively with other health disciplines
- Complete assigned duties regularly and consistently
Requirements:
- Minimum three years recent anesthesia or ICU nursing experience
- Minimum three years recent surgery experience preferred
- Current CRNM registration and BCLS certification
- Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred
- Critical thinking and independent work abilities
