Perform cardiac ultrasound in person at Boundary Trails Health Centre in Winkler, using cardiovascular equipment and probes to support diagnostic imaging.
Shared Health seeks a General Duty Cardiac Sonographer for Boundary Diagnostic Imaging. The position requires a CMA-accredited program, cardiac sonography certification, and effective English communication. Apply technical knowledge to interpret results, troubleshoot methods, and produce complete anatomic and functional information for Cardiologists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cardiovascular ultrasound equipment and probes
- Produce complete anatomic and functional cardiac information
- Apply technical knowledge to interpret results
- Troubleshoot and assess diagnostic methods
- Maintain confidentiality under PHIA regulations
Requirements:
- Complete Manitoba-standard high school education
- Complete a CMA-accredited Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program
- Hold CRCS and/or ARDMS cardiac sonographer certification
- Maintain CPD credits and current BCLS Level C
- One year recent diagnostic cardiac sonography experience preferred
