Winnipeg Regional Health Authority seeks a Food Production Coordinator for its Regional Distribution Facility. You will supervise tray line, production, warewashing, and transport services. The work supports correct portions, temperatures, storage, and transportation for patient menus. Human resource management, audits, HACCP, and emergency response are central requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise tray line, production, warewashing, and transport areas
- Monitor temperatures, tray accuracy, productivity, and equipment parameters
- Compare product tallies with decanted or decased quantities
- Prepare and monitor staff schedules under department procedures
- Respond to emergencies and ensure designated procedures are followed
Requirements:
- Three to five years supervisory food service experience
- Human resource management, performance appraisal, and scheduling experience
- Recognized two year Food Service Supervisors program or equivalent
- Food Handlers Certificate and Manitoba high school education
- Knowledge of HACCP, computers, warewashing, transport, and beltline assembly
