The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority seeks a Health Care Aide for Health Services 3rd Floor at Golden West Centennial Lodge. Under supervision from the Director Health Services, RN, or LPN, you will assist with patient care and basic supportive care. The position requires recognized Health Care Aide training, Grade 10 education, and English communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient and resident care as directed
- Provide basic supportive care within the healthcare team
- Organize and prioritize assigned workload effectively
- Respond to simultaneous demands in changing environments
- Seek assistance when necessary as a team member
Requirements:
- Recognized Health Care Aide course completion required
- Minimum Grade 10 education under Manitoba standards
- Previous patient or resident care experience preferred
- English fluency in written and verbal communication
- Ability to perform standing, transferring, and transporting duties
