Provide paediatric cardiology services with William Osler Health System in Brampton and Etobicoke, interpreting EKG, Holter monitoring, and echocardiography.
This full-time associate paediatric cardiologist supports both hospital sites within Osler's regional paediatric centre. The position includes clinic consultations, urgent inpatient and NICU consultations, and participation in academic activities. Successful applicants require an academic appointment at Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report and interpret paediatric diagnostic cardiology studies
- Interpret EKG, Holter monitoring, and echocardiography
- Provide clinic consultations to paediatricians and family physicians
- Deliver urgent consultations in the NICU
- Support consultations for the inpatient Paediatric Unit
Requirements:
- Hold Ontario registration to practise medicine
- Hold paediatric cardiology fellowship certification
- Demonstrate excellent English communication skills
- Participate in teaching, research, or quality improvement
- Apply for faculty appointment within three months if required
