This management role is based at a Relais & Châteaux property.
As Executive Housekeeper, you will manage the Housekeeping Department and participate on the Inn's Senior Management Team.
You will guide leaders and staff, maintain Wickaninnish Inn standards, and support guest experiences recognized by Forbes, Michelin Key, AAA Four Diamond, and Travel & Leisure's World's Best Hotels.
The position combines hands-on leadership with budgeting, scheduling, human resources, and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, inspections, and service standards
- Lead, train, supervise, and schedule housekeeping team members
- Manage budgets, payroll, financial records, and supply inventory
- Address guest concerns and provide immediate housekeeping assistance
- Improve systems, safety practices, and guest experience processes
Requirements
- At least two years' management or supervisor experience in service
- Alternatively, four years' housekeeping department experience
- Strong human resources, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, cost management, and financial statements
- Maestro PMS, Microsoft Office, and WHMIS knowledge or certification
