As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will deliver individualized treatments within a multidisciplinary mental health and wellness clinic. Your work includes client assessments, health-history reviews, treatment planning, confidential records, and client education. Collaboration with psychologists and healthcare professionals supports a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct assessments and review relevant health histories
- Develop individualized treatment plans for clients
- Educate clients about self-care and injury prevention
- Maintain safe, clean, professional treatment spaces
Requirements:
- Recognized massage therapy diploma with 2,200 training hours
- Current Alberta association membership in good standing
- Professional liability insurance and extended-health reimbursement eligibility
- Strong therapeutic and relaxation massage skills
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and evidence-informed practices
