At BGC Yukon's Haines Junction Satellite, the Program Lead supports safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate programs. You will help deliver recreational, educational, cultural, and life-skills activities. The position develops communication, teamwork, and leadership through practical experience, training, and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily programming for children and youth
- Facilitate games, crafts, activities, and special events
- Prepare materials, equipment, and program spaces
- Build positive relationships and encourage participation
- Gather feedback and communicate updates to the Programs Manager
Requirements:
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
- Interest in working with children and youth
- Understanding of positive behaviour guidance practices
- Class 4 Driver's License is an asset
- Willingness to learn and receive coaching
