This permanent Law Clerk position works directly with senior lawyers across corporate, litigation, and transactional matters. You will provide substantive support across complex, high-volume files while maintaining accuracy, organization, and professional judgment. The position requires strong knowledge of legal procedures, legal research experience, and experience drafting documents under lawyer supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain corporate records, databases, and minute books using ALF Corporate
- Coordinate corporate searches, filings, registrations, and ongoing maintenance
- Prepare corporate documents for incorporations, amendments, and transactions
- Assemble evidence, trial briefs, schedules, and hearing materials
- Conduct legal and factual research supporting proceedings and document preparation
Requirements:
- College diploma in Law Clerk, Paralegal, or Legal Assistant studies
- Minimum two years' legal support experience, preferably in a law firm
- Experience researching law and preparing documents under lawyer supervision
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
