Operate snowmaking equipment at Whistler Blackcomb while building ski surfaces in an outdoor alpine environment. Full-time winter seasonal hours are available.
As a Snowmaker with Whistler Blackcomb, you will help prepare the mountain for skiing guests during the 2026/2027 winter season. This physically demanding work includes equipment operation, vehicle operation, basic maintenance, and snow production. The position is based in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate snowmaking equipment safely and efficiently
- Operate vehicles, including snowmobiles, safely and efficiently
- Perform basic maintenance on snowmaking equipment
- Produce snow for the best skiing surface
- Complete other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Valid unrestricted driver's license
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Basic hand tool knowledge and skills
- Ability to work extended outdoor alpine hours
