Operate DeltaV DCS systems for AltaGas at the REEF Terminal in Prince Rupert, supporting propane, butane, and LPG operations. As an Operator 1 Panel Control Operator, you will support commissioning, startup, and ready-for-operations activities. Following startup, you will manage flows from railcars through chilling processes into LPG storage and VLGC vessel loading operations. The role requires control room leadership, technical decision-making, and strong coordination with Plant and Rail Operators, the Shift Supervisor, and Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate REEF from the DeltaV DCS control console
- Support commissioning, startup, and ready-for-operations activities
- Lead and support equipment lockout and tagout
- Monitor CCTV PTZ cameras and maintain situational awareness
- Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Five or more years in gas plant or terminal operations
- At least two years of control room experience
- Fourth Class Power Engineering certification required
- Previous facility startup and commissioning experience
- Bring DeltaV DCS proficiency, control room leadership, and safe operational judgment to AltaGas REEF Terminal operations.
