Drive PLC and software sales for Westburne in Sudbury, combining Rockwell Automation expertise with consultative selling across Central Ontario.
Reporting to the Regional Automation Manager, this full-time specialist owns revenue growth for PLCs, HMIs, control software, and industrial networking. You will develop territory plans, manage CRM pipelines, and convert technical opportunities into closed sales. The position serves manufacturing, water and wastewater, food and beverage, mining, infrastructure, and other verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own sales targets for PLC, HMI, software, and services
- Build pipelines, forecast sales, and manage territory tactics
- Prospect customers, OEMs, integrators, and channel partners
- Prepare proposals, quotes, BOMs, pricing, and scope documents
- Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales delivery activities
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in electrical, electronic, control, or automation technology
- Minimum two years combining PLC work with technical sales
- Rockwell PLC, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, and networking experience
- Knowledge of ladder logic, structured text, and control strategies
- Valid driver's license and passport
