The Electrical Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting in the upkeep of lighting and minor repairs across various areas within the mall. You will check for burnt-out lights, inform electricians, and maintain wall games for operational safety. Efficiency and safety are key as you perform general labor tasks and support multiple departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check and replace burnt out lights across attractions
- Inform electricians of suspect ballasts for inspection
- Monitor wall games and carry out minor repairs
- Safely remove structures using appropriate tools
- Assist various trades with general labor tasks
Requirements:
- Completion of grade 12 education
- Ability to lift and transport heavy items
- Comfortable working at heights
- WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain
- Mechanical ability an asset
