Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Insurance Broker at WellCare Insurance Corp. The Insurance Broker will advise clients on insurance products, assess coverage needs, and recommend tailored solutions across personal, commercial, and life insurance lines. Daily responsibilities include developing and maintaining client relationships, preparing quotes, processing applications, managing policy renewals, and handling policy changes. The role also involves coordinating with insurers and underwriting teams, responding promptly to client inquiries, and resolving claims or service issues. The Insurance Broker will be expected to meet sales and service performance targets, stay current with industry regulations and product updates, and maintain accurate documentation and records.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, including knowledge of personal, commercial, and life insurance products.
- Candidates should possess Finance and Retirement Planning skills to help clients make informed, long-term financial and coverage decisions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and effective issue resolution.
- Relevant insurance broker licensing or certification (as required by local regulations) is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in insurance sales, brokerage, or related financial services roles is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Comfort with remote work technologies, CRM systems, and standard office software; ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Post-secondary education in business, finance, insurance, or a related field is an asset.
