At Weir Marine Engineering, the System Analyst supports Department of National Defence clients through IT support and independent verification. You will work within the In-Service Support Team and Information and Communication Systems Section. The work spans Microsoft products, Linux distributions, enterprise infrastructure, and interconnected operational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level Three support across complex enterprise IT environments
- Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Support servers, workstations, infrastructure, and virtual workloads
- Monitor system performance and complete maintenance activities
- Coordinate stakeholders while identifying and resolving technical issues
Requirements:
- Experience supporting complex enterprise IT environments at Level Three
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and Linux distributions
- Experience with hypervisors, networking equipment, and storage devices
- Critical thinking, analytical, written communication, and collaboration skills
- Canadian citizenship and ten years residing in Canada
