Apply marine systems expertise as a Technologist Specialist with Weir Marine Engineering, supporting Navy equipment across Halifax, LaSalle, Lévis, or Victoria.
This on-site–hybrid position supports the integrated Mechanical Engineering Systems and Equipment team. You will provide technical expertise across design, installation, operation, and maintenance activities. The work includes technical investigations, engineering studies, documentation, and shipboard support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise for designated marine systems and equipment
- Review technical documentation for quality improvement initiatives
- Support technical investigations and engineering studies
- Optimize maintenance documentation and schedules
- Provide on-site technical support during shipboard activities
Requirements:
- Recognized technologist certification or qualifying military technical training
- Proficiency with maintenance procedures and documentation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and O365
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Canadian citizenship meeting stated security clearance residency requirements
