This role requires a dedicated Traffic & Logistics Coordinator reporting to the Traffic Manager. You will oversee traffic control plans, manage City road permits, and ensure compliance with safety and logistical demands. Collaborating closely with various stakeholders including subcontractors and transport authorities, you'll contribute to smooth operations on this significant construction project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update Traffic Control Plans and RODARS applications
- Manage City road occupancy permits and maintain records
- Ensure compliance with AODA through work zones
- Track truck movements and coordinate logistics with teams
- Monitor adherence to Zero Tolerance Hauling Policy
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Traffic Management or Logistics
- 2 to 5 years of traffic or construction coordination experience
- Knowledge of Toronto Code Chapter 950 and Highway Traffic Act
- Expertise in software tools like Advanced Excel and AutoCAD
- Strong organizational and communication skills
