Drive customer acquisition through partnerships at Wealthsimple, combining commercial negotiation with measurable digital and in-person growth campaigns. As Senior Lead of Partnerships, you will build acquisition channels from scratch across referral partnerships, partner campaigns, and experiential sponsorships. You will turn relationships into net-new funded clients and deposits, including for Wealthsimple's business banking line. The role requires ownership of sourcing, negotiation, activation, and performance measurement. You will work with Growth, Brand, PMM, and Business Banking Product to activate partnerships effectively and assess their impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive partner-funded acquisition campaigns, including Monthly Millionaire
- Own business banking referral partnerships from sourcing through activation
- Negotiate commercial terms from outreach to signed agreements
- Track funded clients, deposits, campaign performance, and sponsorship ROI
- Coordinate partnership activation across Growth, Brand, PMM, and Product
Requirements:
- Seven to ten years in partnerships, business development, or growth
- Channel or referral partnership experience with attributable results
- Strong Canadian network across commercial, technology, and community ecosystems
- Comfort with CAC, LTV, attribution, and commercial analysis
- Product partnerships, experiential marketing, or business banking experience
- Build measurable acquisition through referral channels, campaigns, negotiations, and sponsorships as Wealthsimple's senior partnerships growth leader.
