Waste Control Service is adding a driver to its locally operated recycling team. Based at the Coquitlam facility, you will service West Vancouver while operating Side Load trucks and maintaining scheduled routes. The work includes manual household collection, customer communication, issue resolution, and coordination with dispatch and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently and meet collection schedules
- Provide courteous service to residents during collection
- Identify and address damaged bins and blocked routes
- Maintain communication with supervisors and team members
- Complete inspections before and after each trip
Requirements:
- Class 5 License and air brakes endorsement
- Class 3 License is preferred
- Two years of waste management industry experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding manual collection
- Positive communication in diverse group dynamics
