What You’ll Do
- The General Labourer supports safe, reliable plant operations by performing hands‑on production, material‑handling, and housekeeping tasks across the facility.
- Operate basic plant equipment such as conveyors, elevator systems, baggers, scales, and lift‑trucks.
- Perform general clean‑up using brooms, shovels, vacuums, and other housekeeping tools.
- Support material movement, loading, stacking, and packaging activities.
- Assist with routine service labour including clearing blockages and staging materials.
- Maintain safe work areas and follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements.
- Identify and report equipment issues or unsafe conditions.
- Perform moderate to heavy physical labour in varying environmental conditions.
What You’ll Need
- Possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent).
- Hold valid Lift‑Truck Certification and/or have demonstrated lift‑truck operating experience.
- Be able to work safely in a physically demanding, fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate reliability and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime in a 24/7 operation.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members and report issues promptly.
- Bring prior manufacturing or industrial experience (considered an asset, not required).
