Apply tilt-up and cast-in-place construction knowledge as a Site Superintendent with Wales McLelland’s expanding Calgary, Alberta team. Wales McLelland is expanding into Alberta after completing successful Calgary projects. The Site Superintendent oversees WM worksites, supervising sub-trades and site workers while maintaining safety and quality standards. This position supports commercial, retail, and industrial construction through field coordination, schedule management, and project communication. Key Responsibilities:
Review plans and specifications for construction problems and savings Prepare schedules with the Project Manager and monitor milestone dates Look ahead two weeks to identify potential project delays Manage scope changes using current contract documents Prepare deficiency lists and maintain ongoing as-built drawings Requirements:
At least three years’ Site Superintendent experience with a General Contractor Experience delivering commercial, retail, and industrial new buildings Knowledge of commercial construction means, methods, and related site-work Ability to handle pressure, budget constraints, and tight deadlines Construction Management certificate, diploma, or Trade Qualification is an asset Use tilt-up expertise, construction planning, and field leadership to support Wales McLelland’s Calgary construction growth.
