Diagnose agricultural equipment in the field for Brandt's Rocky View Agriculture branch, using mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Travel to Alberta customers as needed.
As a Field Agriculture Heavy Equipment Technician, you will support Brandt's Agriculture Division and John Deere equipment. The work covers tractors, hay tools, and Ag & Turf implements, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air conditioning, guidance, and precision agriculture systems. You will help deliver practical repairs and service at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment systems
- Travel to customer sites for field diagnosis and repairs
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections and equipment adjustments
- Recondition pre-owned agricultural equipment
- Record field reports, warranty invoicing, and repair details
Requirements:
- Heavy Equipment Technician or Agriculture Equipment Technician certification is an asset
- Registered apprenticeship under the relevant trade is considered
- Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment
- Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
