This full-time role reports to the General Plant Manager and plays a vital role in factory operations and equipment upkeep. Candidates should possess post-secondary education in Industrial Maintenance and a solid background of 3-5 years in industrial settings. Your focus will be on ensuring safe and reliable plant performance while executing a preventative maintenance program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Support equipment commissioning and production ramp-up
- Execute preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Diagnose and repair equipment for operational continuity
- Maintain accurate records and logs of maintenance actions
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in relevant fields
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and maintenance programs
- Capability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
- Awareness of Indigenous cultures is beneficial
